[Mac-talk] Blu-ray for mac mini

Hi,
This is for an already existing machine, and a fortune
would be the 3rd party Blu-ray burner that's being
sold by Fast Mac for $529.95. Which is $50.00 less
that I paid for the Mac.

I was thinking more like the Lite-on or a Pioneer read
only solution.

FYI, you maybe waiting a long time for an OEM  Blu-ray
equipped Mac with full functions. Apple current policy
has been sorta anti-optical disc  for about a year.
Examples are the iTunes Movie rental service (Why do
you need to play a DVD?, Just rent the movie from
iTunes.), A laptop without a  built optical drive, and
last years Mac World  iMovie presentation.
