hi Kristin,

What is your SMTP server settings for your artcenter.edu account ?

Also, do you have this problem when you try sending from home or outside
? At home, who is your ISP ? You should use your ISP's SMTP server when
you are at home. Check if your isp allows SMTP access even when you are
not at home. Some ISP's dont (RoadRunner/TimeWarner for instance). If
that's the case then make sure your artcenter.edu SMTP account is setup
correctly. You might need to specify your entire email address as
username (i.e.stephens at artcenter.edu). Also check if your artcenter.edu
SMTP server requires SSL connection.

As for the duplicate mail, I would need to actually see what is
happening to try and figure out the solution.

Bring your Mac to the SGVMUG meeting and if you can't wait that long
then I will be happy to take a look at it on the weekend.
