Dumb question alert!! But I don't mind asking 
(being a dumb formerly-blonde girl, after all)...

Having meeting notices on the Web site, or the 
"blog", is all very good and well, but didn't 
they (meeting notices, that is) used to get 
announced on a mailing list, er, like this one, 
perhaps? I realize I've been away a while, and I 
realize that in many circles e-mail is lower than 
passe, and blogs and/or forums are the only way 
to fly, but am I missing something here?
