[Mac-talk] Help, losing Eudora mailboxes

Listmates I hope someone has an idea what is happening.

  Using Eudora 6.02 . Recently a filter to send client specific emails 
into a mailbox for saving came up reporting:
	 (-5000) An unkown error has occurred. (45:214)

Manual search mailbox completely disappeared within the program and 
menu. A search of the hard drive, I find the mailbox but can't open 
it, error message. First time not a big deal. I put a back up of the 
mailbox into the Mailbox Folder, working fine.

Just now I tried transfer mail manually to a very important mailbox 
same error message occurred. Lost mailbox again, same as before.  I 
am freaking out as this can not keep occurring.

Any ideas what to do?  Macbook Pro running OS 10.5.2 (reinstalled once)

  History, why I am using Eudora:
  I brought Eudora over from the G5 after no time to fix constant 
quirky AppleMAIL problems. I had to get back to work. I lost 2 weeks 
of mail in the process. Unable to work on a fix at the time and still 
having problems of odd nature. They seem to be Leopard related when I 
search  the Internet for answers and find others are having the same 
problems. It has not been a stable OS on this MACbook pro. I find 
nothing of any use in an internet search about this.
