I may have the opportunity to create a MacGathering™ Holiday Party &
Leopard Classes in just two weeks - on Saturday, Nov 17.

It can be:
simply socializing
networking
some vendors selling items in time for your holiday shopping
games such as MacJeopardy and a music challenge (with prizes, of course)
seminars too.

I'd love to know if any of you who are interested -- and able to
attend at this late date.
If you are, let me know offlist please.

Your reply will help me decide whether to hold the event and how large
a space we’ll need.
It will also help vendors figure out whether it’s a good idea for them
to participate.

Location:
Possibly the Renaissance Hollywood hotel at Hollywood & Highland.
 >
Otherwise likely in the LA/Hollywood area.

Time (tentative)
Classes:
1:00 - 2:30 your choice of 1 of 4 concurrent seminars
2:45 - 4:15 your choice of another 1 of 4 concurrent seminars
Maybe another class session too

5 or 5:30 - 11 or 11:30 (or around 7:30 to 11-30) Social party time

(Note: 1 of the seminars is a must for Mac users - it's about how to
take care of it and all that you can do before calling a consultant.
All will reflect Leopard.)

Cost:
We’d like to keep this low-cost.
Possibly $25 for 2 1.5 hour seminars
Party: $10 per adult; under 18 or student ID - $5; under 14 years old
- free
There would be some hors d'oeuvres and a bartender for you to buy
your own drinks.
(Parking at Hollywood & Highland is $2 - $10.)

If you're not aware of the MacGathering™ (Regional Macintosh
Gathering) please have a look at <http://www.MacGathering.com> to
learn about it. And if you're wondering who I am, besides that I'm a
member here, my sig can help.

Thanks.
