Hi Kristin,
Yes, run the Adobe CS 3 Clean Script Program, available from Adobe.
It is intended to be ran to uninstall the Beta release of Adobe CS3,
but can also help in your situation. I have ran into this problem
several times in the past and this solution has worked for me.
